Health Care Respirator Fit Test Demonstration

Published July 12, 2013

This video graphically shows how a poorly donned, fitted, and adjusted health care N95 respirator can increase a worker’s exposure. The video shows workers being quantitatively fit tested while wearing well fitting, poorly fitting, and poorly adjusted respirators, as well as a worker with facial hair. Video exposure monitoring is used to show the particle concentrations inside of the respirator and the respirator’s fit factor in real time. Any of the conditions of the license can be waived if you get permission.
